This is a 4-door full-size luxury car coupe type, produced from 1994 to 1995. The Flying Spur was the first ever turbocharged Rolls-Royce and the press release advised that only a limited series was intended to see the light of day. Power-output was more than sufficient and in a most civilized manner this car offered level of performance which was a new dimension for Rolls-Royce motor car. The name Flying Spur could be traced back to the Johnstone family, whose coat of arms had shown "Flying Spur". Based on the Silver Spur III, the Flying Spur incorporated the powertrain of the Bentley Turbo R, blending traditional Rolls-Royce luxury with enhanced performance.
