IntroCar was showcasing a number of new engine parts for Rolls-Royce & Bentley cars of all year ranges at the RREC Rally weekend. Here John Tupper, Managing Director at IntroCar, discussing some of the engine parts range he is most excited to introduce to market more recently.

"So today at the Burghley House, we are showcasing a number of our engine components that we have been building over the last few years. We've done a lot of work on engine products, really for the last three or four years. We have invested very heavily in a number of lines most of which are here. So here we have got some pistons, these are Eutectic forged pistons. We've got 4.5L pistons (RE14761PP) here, 4.9L pistons (UE2965PP) there and also some V8 pistons (UE46310SET) there. They are really lovely products, excellent ring quality, really nice range.

So you got a number of the ranges here, things like:

  • camshafts UE44436
  • hydraulic valves lifters for the V8 UV11163PA. They fit 1960 to 2000 Rolls-Royce & Bentley models. That's an identical one to the one Bentley produces in all aspects.

If we move over here, we been spending a lot of money expanding our range of bearings. So we are looking to do V8 engines, we actually have done bearings for cars from 1946 all the way up to the mid 1970's (click here to look at the whole bearing range). Everything else from 1973 to 2000 is about to come in so we are going to have a full range of bearings for the classic Rolls-Royce & Bentley engines.

We spent a lot of money on these, they are really nice products that we are really pleased with. We've got undersized as well as the standard sizes and we also used a tri-metal bearing, which is generally the best sort of bearing to use in terms of specifications.

The Pistons Rings are here: PSTNRGST4OS. We have done a lot with gaskets, head gaskets sets and all the major gaskets. We really have the best availability on those, I think anywhere in the world.

That's a full head gasket set RH3203, it is identical to the same parts as you would get with the Bentley head gasket set, you get everything in there all the way down to the valve steam collets. Which we have and no one else supplies currently. Here we also have a Rocker Shaft RE16387 which is for the Mk VI & R-Type and the Rocker Arms RE17795 & RE17796 you can see there. You can buy them as a matching set RE16387KT, there is no reaming, no stoning of the arms, you just put the whole lot on and fit and forget.

These are now much better prices than they used to be, we have really been able to push the price down on these.

So, in summary, IntroCar has been investing a lot of money into engine parts for Rolls-Royce & Bentley cars over the last couple of years.
