This set of bearings is from the engine section in the Rolls-Royce & Bentley parts catalogue for models built between 1946 to 1955.

Enigne bearings support the weight of the crankshaft, allowing it to spin freely inside the engine bay. The rotation of the crankshaft is crucially important to the operation of your vehicle. It is exactly what makes your car move, and the engine bearings provide the support for that to happen. They come in a set comprising of rod bearings and main bearings to keep your crankshaft in motion.
Given that they are one of the essential components of a car, they are subject to much wear and tear and often need replacing, but there is a difference in the seriousness of faulty engine bearings. If your main bearings go then the crankshaft will likely need replacing, but if your rod bearings go the engine itself might need to be rebuilt altogether. It is advised that you consult a specialist mechanic to ensure that you have the correct diagnosis for your car.

Our website displays live availability and therefore is accurate at the point of ordering. The following represent the various availability options displayed on parts:
Add to cart: Available - This item is in our inventory and will be picked, packed and dispatched within 15 minutes of your order being placed, subject to working hours.
Notify me when back in stock: Click the link to send us an enquiry and we will do a worldwide search for you and let you know what alternatives are available for you.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will be picked packed and dispatched within 15 minutes of placing the order subject to the time of day, and availability of the items (see above for availability). Our dispatch team is UK based and the final courier collection is at 4.30pm GMT Monday through Friday. Placing an order before 4pm would typically mean your order can be dispatched on the same day if the items are in stock.
