Hood Specification:
- Acrylic outer, which is constructed from a staple acrylic fibre that is dyed before extrusion of the yarn to ensure colour stability. Acrylic is one of the few yarns that has a high tolerance to UV light, ensuring excellent colour fastness over time.
- The outer hood is woven with a twill weave, notable for its fine appearance, strength and endurance.
- The internal fabric is a strong polyester fibre, featuring a 'Dobby' pattern weave for stability and superior appearance.
- Both cloths are combined with neoprene (similar to that used in diving wet suits), applied in five overlapping layers which ensures total waterproofing and flexibility under all temperature ranges. The materials are tested to water pressures of 0.4 bar.
- Hoods are cut using computer controlled cutting tables before being assembled using modern heat technologies and traditional sewing techniques.
- The heated glass rear screen is bonded into the cloth with polythene for security and safety.
- Plastic mouldings are included, which must be perfectly positioned to the millimetre to avoid creases and enhance longevity.

How do I know if an item is in stock?
Our website displays live availability and therefore is accurate at the point of ordering. The following represent the various availability options displayed on parts:
Add to cart: Available - This item is in our inventory and will be picked, packed and dispatched within 15 minutes of your order being placed, subject to working hours.
Notify me when back in stock: Click the link to send us an enquiry and we will do a worldwide search for you and let you know what alternatives are available for you.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will be picked packed and dispatched within 15 minutes of placing the order subject to the time of day, and availability of the items (see above for availability). Our dispatch team is UK based and the final courier collection is at 4.30pm GMT Monday through Friday. Placing an order before 4pm would typically mean your order can be dispatched on the same day if the items are in stock. Yes, we do. Assuming that the product is like for like in quality and material then we will be happy to match the price. You will see a Price Promise button under the images on product pages.
