The Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club Annual Rally and Concours d'Elegance 2019

Event Date: 21st to 23rd June, 2019
Event Location: Burghley House, Peterborough, Stamford PE9 3JY, UK

IntroCar will be there with the usual display of new Rolls-Royce and Bentley parts as well as a pop up sale and a heavily discounted heritage parts sale. We will have hundreds of goody bags on site so please do come and visit us and don't forget to grab one before they run out. Along with all the vendors, cars and enthusiasts, expect plenty of activities to plan your picnic around!

RREC Rally Day 1: Friday 21st June

The gates open at 9am and the vendor area, trade stands and members spares will be available for first browsing until 4pm. The IntroCar heritage sale is open for business and all parts will be available on a first come, first served basis. See a list of items available in advance next week.. we will publish to our Facebook page and email all our subscribers with a sneak peek! At 5pm the Hunt House closes for the day and RH Insurance host their Evening Reception in the Seminars Marquee.

RREC Rally Day 2: Saturday 22nd June

The rally opens at 9am again along with the children's play bus and all the refreshment stands. There are also activity bags for younger visitors which you can pick up from the control desk in The Hunt House Marquee. The seminars commence today with the following:10.30 Do you have an article inside you?Writers Tom Clarke and Malcolm Tucker, and Spirit & Speed Editor Richard Charnley, Spirit & Speed's Editor help to teach us how to turn our ideas into articles!

11.30 Man will travel, with bag of spanners

Meet Nigel Sandell, a seasoned export in everything Rolls-Royce and Bentley, who works on these cars all over the world and is in demand by many an owner!

12.30 RH Specialist Insurance

Emma Airey from RH Specialist Insurance provides tips to owners for ensuring their cars are adequately covered.

In celebration of the centennial there will be a Bentley 100 Celebration reception in the Trophy Marquee at noon and a Bentley 100 Parade Member Forum Meet Up in the Hunt House Marquee at 2pm.

From 1.30pm to 3.30pm there will be a hands-on Small Horsepower Workshop in the Seminars Marquee run by Roger Cockfield and members of the East Midlands Section. All seminars are free entry so make sure not to miss any of interest!

MPR Jazz will be live in concert from 3.30pm to entertain the crowd (and last year there was lots of dancing so save some energy!) Later that evening the Annual Rally Gala Dinner will be hosted at the Holiday Inn, Peterborough West.

RREC Rally Day 3: Sunday 23rd June

Judging of the cars commences today at 10.15am and there is nothing more spectacular than the sight of these cars lined up in their positions ready for extreme scrutiny! For those who have pre-booked there is a Sunday Luncheon at noon in the Seminars Marquee with some limited spaces available on the day if you would like to join.

A Vintage Afternoon Tea is available in the Catering Marquee at the same time.

Judging ends at 1.30pm with the winners selected and rosettes distributed to winning cars at 2pm.

Prize giving in the Main Ring starts at 3pm.  True to tradition we will be expecting the annual flypast with a visit overhead from a Hurricane! The Hawker Hurricane was at the forefront of Britain's defense in World War II and played a major part in achieving victory.

As always, there will be plenty of live music throughout the weekend courtesy of John Timms and his Jazz Band and the Yarwell and Nassington Britannia Brass Band on Sunday. The Rolls-Royce and Bentley Specialists' Association (RRBSA) is generously gifting a free umbrella (although let's hope for sun, not rain!) to every pre-booked rally visitor.

You will find a voucher enclosed in your rally pack to the IntroCar marquee or any other RRBSA member trade stand (look for the RRBSA flags!) Throughout the weekend, Burghley House is open to visitors for viewing tours, and it really is a very special piece of British history so make sure you save yourself some time to go!

This year the Rally organisers are committed to making the event as environmentally friendly and eco-aware as possible. All waste will be recycled where possible so please help the organisers by disposing of waste responsibly. IntroCar will have a water cooler on site and will be giving away re-useable water bottle or travel mug gifts with every order throughout the weekend. The onsite caterers will also be offering members 20p off hot drinks when they use a reusable cup! For all those who wish to attend but haven't yet got ticket: DON'T PANIC! You can turn up and pay on the gate.. so come and join!
