SILVER WRAITH

The Silver Wraith was the first post-war 4-door luxury car from Rolls-Royce. Their first offer for this model was in 1946, the production carry on till 1959. A new design produced to be bodied by independent coach builders as had been the tradition prior to World War II.

It may have seemed slightly strange that both the Rolls Royce Silver Wraith and the Silver Dawn were also offered to independent coach builders for special bodywork. This may well have been as a result of the huge demand for the highly desirable standard steel car which caused the factory supply problems.
