This is an upgraded coolant gallery for the 4.5 litre Rolls-Royce and Bentley engine, which supplies coolant to each of the six cylinders in the engine. We strongly recommend replacing this when rebuilding these engines as they can become blocked with sediment, inhibiting critical coolant flow to the cylinders, creating unavoidable hotspots in the engine.
This gallery was subject to several alterations, each designed to improve the balance of coolant flow across the engine, in order to optimise even dispersion of heat along the crankcase. The Prestige Parts gallery utilises the latest design available - in fact an improvement on the last version offered by Rolls-Royce Motorcars.
Before now the gallery was manufactured from flat brass plate that was folded lengthwise and braised to seal. The heat of the braising process caused a natural and inevitable bowing of the gallery, meaning that it was rarely perfectly straight from new. It is now manufactured from a seamless extruded brass tube, especially tooled for the Prestige Parts range with a minimum order quantity of 1 kilometre! Seamless tube ensures a perfectly straight gallery that is easy to insert. Coolant apertures are laser cut on a computerised jig, enabling ideal coolant flow and eliminating hotspots in the engine.

- Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn (chassis SFC24 on), Silver Wraith standard wheelbase (chassis WOF1 on) and Silver Wraith long wheelbase (all chassis)
- Bentley MkVI & R-Type (chassis B 146 MD on)

How do I know if an item is in stock?
Our website displays live availability and therefore is accurate at the point of ordering. The following represent the various availability options displayed on parts:
Add to cart: Available - This item is in our inventory and will be picked, packed and dispatched within 15 minutes of your order being placed, subject to working hours.
Notify me when back in stock: Click the link to send us an enquiry and we will do a worldwide search for you and let you know what alternatives are available for you.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will be picked packed and dispatched within 15 minutes of placing the order subject to the time of day, and availability of the items (see above for availability). Our dispatch team is UK based and the final courier collection is at 4.30pm GMT Monday through Friday. Placing an order before 4pm would typically mean your order can be dispatched on the same day if the items are in stock.
