The Prestige Parts® contact set has been designed to overcome shortcomings in the Lucas and Bentley branded that have been supplied for some years. We have worked to overcome these, working in conjunction with a leading UK ignition specialist.
The contacts enclosed herewith are equipped with a fibre heel, which duplicates the original Tufnol heel in the Lucas distributor and replaces the plastic one on the recently made product. The spring is an 18-24 oz. strength, exactly as original. In addition, the contacts points are of equal size, which is important for good alignment of the contact surfaces, whereas recent product has had one item over sized to overcome alignment problems. The dimensions of the metal base plate, size and alignment of holes have been reproduced as they were when originally manufactured, which had not been correctly reproduced in more recent versions of the same product.
Where appropriate, fibre washers have been used to replace cheaper, plastic washers. We believe this product is the best available in the current market.

How do I know if an item is in stock?
Our website displays live availability and therefore is accurate at the point of ordering. The following represent the various availability options displayed on parts:
Add to cart: Available - This item is in our inventory and will be picked, packed and dispatched within 15 minutes of your order being placed, subject to working hours.
Notify me when back in stock: Click the link to send us an enquiry and we will do a worldwide search for you and let you know what alternatives are available for you.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will be picked packed and dispatched within 15 minutes of placing the order subject to the time of day, and availability of the items (see above for availability). Our dispatch team is UK based and the final courier collection is at 4.30pm GMT Monday through Friday. Placing an order before 4pm would typically mean your order can be dispatched on the same day if the items are in stock. Are there different product options available for parts?

Yes, we do. Assuming that the product is like for like in quality and material then we will be happy to match the price. You will see a Price Promise button under the images on product pages.
